Brown Hen Farm has several beautiful flower gardens and a commercial peony field.  We have something blooming around the farm from early spring until fall frost.

Our first peony roots were planted in 2015 and commercial harvests began in 2018.   Preparing the field in a glacial moraine required moving tons of rocks but the well-draining sunny site that was a former llama pasture provides great growing conditions for our peonies.
